Finding yourself sifting through outdated files and wasting time searching for one file when you have tons of other files that are just in the way? In this post, discover 8 Ways to Declutter your Online Biz.

Why decluttering is important?

In a nutshell, added clutter weighs down your personal energy. If you’re carrying around extra baggage it is time to get that cleared out. You will feel lighter and allows you to fly higher. It helps the energy, helps your personal energy Vibe higher. It keeps the flow of chi going without being stuck with all this extra clutter around you.

Every article has a specific energy. Every piece of clutter or unecessary file has a vibrational frequency. IF this article, file or thought is not serving your highest good it is time to get rid of it.

Finding Treasures

In the process of decluttering, you never know what you’re going to find. You may find an old opt-in that you can turn into a product. You may find an old course or product that you made years ago and you’d never took the time to Market it.

Decluttering is a great way to help sustain what you have going on right now in a very easy way, without having to make more products or take more time to create something new.

You probably have a treasure Trove of products that you can use just hanging out in your files. In the process of decluttering, you may be inspired with new ideas as well.

Creating a consistent declutter strategy

If you haven’t decluttered your business for a while, you probably have some hours of work to do which can be overwhelming just in and of itself.

Answer?

Create a weekly decluttering strategy!

Time blocking with a timer is an incredible way to keep you focused and consistent. Declare your declutter day of the week…or if you want to set this a daily non-negotiable too that would help you declutter even faster.

Declare your decluttering place!

If the weather is great, take yourself outside. Use the energy of nature to help you enjoy your decluttering process.

Bad weather? Treat yourself to your favorite hot beverage at a coffee shop.

Love working with others? Join an online decluttering party. Step 1: Declare day, time, length and location.
Step 2: Put it in your calendar.
Step 3: Declare what area you’re choosing to declutter.
Step 4: Keep track of your declutter progress to feel you have accomplished something. A way to help you feel productive while you’re doing this is to write down the number of files you have decluttered.

For example: if you know your emails before you start and then write down where you ended up so you can see how much you’ve deleted. This keeps you encouraged with a sense of productivity within a specific time frame.

Daily in small bits to tame the files.

Not so much?

You could probably get by with weekly.

8 Ways to Declutter your Online Biz

These eight areas I’m going to give you are going to help you inspire you what you need to do in your business. I specifically chose these eight areas because they are my hot cluttered places.

1. Google Suite

Do you use Google Suite? Let me know in the comments below.

I use Google Suite for Google Docs, Slides for presentations, and sheets for organization.

I’ve been using Google Docs for years for my students. The declutter process is simple. Go to your drive and start deleting files you no longer need. Click the three little dots in the upper right corner of the file and then click delete.

In the process of decluttering, you may easily organize any files that you will not be deleting.

2. Dropbox

If you use Dropbox, you most likely have a lot of files that can be deleted or organized. I use Dropbox with my students, courses, marketing files, images, stock photos etc. Basically, all files from my online biz that need to be stored. For me, everything is in Dropbox!

These files can also be a Treasure Trove of things that need to be decluttered and at the same time products that could be finished or repurposed.

Spending a bit of decluttering time in your Dropbox account allows you to reacquaint yourself with your files, and delete all unnecessary or outdated files.

3. eMails

This place gets filled up quick! I don’t know about you, but I think right now I have over 20, 000 emails in one email account alone. EEK!!!

The strategy I use to speed up this process is to click on an email you will delete, copy and paste who it’s from, and put it in the search bar. All the emails from that specific person will then appear. Click the box to select all the emails and you may be able to delete hundreds of emails very quickly in that fashion.

4.Canva/Picmonkey

The next place is Canva/PicMonkey. These are the two platforms I use to create images for my online presence.

Canva and Picmonkey fill up fast if you delete files on a regular basis. Any images you don’t want to delete, create folders for them and get them organized.

5. Smartphone

The next place to go to is on your phone. You may find, have tons of images or videos on your phone that you could easily download. If you want to keep them or delete so they’re not taking up space on your phone as well you can put them on a hard drive or put them in a Dropbox.

If you’re like me I use my phone for videos. I use my phone for images and it gets pretty full so that’s a great place to clear out and that’s something that you can do if you have your phone with you everywhere, so if you’re sitting in the car waiting for somebody. If you’re on the bus or if you’re waiting for a plane, whatever it is, you can take out your phone and just start deleting pictures that you don’t want anymore or start filing them away.

6. Trello

The next place to go to to clear out could be if you use Trello or Asana.

You may have some old Trello boards that you’re not even using anymore. To declutter simply to go in your account and take out what you need from those Trello boards then click delete.

Take the time to reorganize what you do have so you keep everything really Slim lined.

7. Social Media

This is a really big topic you may want to break it down even smaller. So depending you know if you’re using Instagram a lot or Facebook or YouTube you probably have a lot of things in there that you can clean out.

Maybe even friends and followers on Facebook, you can clean out your playlists on YouTube.

Reorganize what you have that you’ve saved. Pinterest is another place. Social media is a must for constant maintenance. You may find at least 20 minutes of social media clean out on a weekly basis is necessary.

8. Websites

If you maintain your own website, head on over to the back end of your website and start the decluttering process with your Pages first. Clear out any pages that are not being used on your website anymore.

You can filter by date created and start with the oldest content if you desire. If you realize that you didn’t want to delete something, you can just pop into your trash and retrieve it if you need to.

Talented and ready to jump out of the starving artist syndrome? Let’s get you making some extra cash with your talents online. Monetizing your talents online is a great way to turn your passion into profit. That’s what I did.

My online journey in short

Professional International violinist that found my way teaching online from a request made by my students in the States for online lessons while I was touring abroad.

Within that journey, I have created this thriving YouTube channel written over 30 educational digital exercise books for violin and created multiple online courses and academies for adult violinists newbie to Pro.

If I can do it, you can too.

Technophobe to techie

I was a complete technophobe before I started online. Truth!

I barely had a Facebook account and an email address. I absolutely dreaded working with computers. Now no one today would believe that’s the case because now I love working online listening to some soft jazz and knowing that I’m making an impact in this world today.

Passion to profits

It doesn’t matter if you’re a musician or an artist or you love to cook. Your passion, whatever it is, can be turned into a product that you can sell online. Now it’s not just, okay I’m gonna sell something online to make money. You’re using your passion and your drive to help others to share something that you are so passionate about that you know it will help others in their Journey as well whether it’s an educational product or something that will be hung on the wall that’s going to give them joy every time they look at it.

Use social to your advantage

We live in a day and age that social media can be a blessing or it could be a curse and as talented individuals monetizing ourselves online social media is absolutely amazing. I have connected with so many violinists all over the world because of my YouTube channel or because of Facebook. If I hadn’t been working online I would never meet these amazing people and teach them violin or help them with their online Biz or both!

Simple ways to get you started making money online

Sell your products or services on an online Marketplace like Etsy or just use Payhip. Payhip has a free plan where you get a link and you can sell on social anywhere. Wherever you’re having a conversation, whether it’s in direct messaging, you can just pop that link in and say hey this would really help you out and boom you have your first sale. So that’s a very very easy way to get started.
I would highly suggest creating a website that showcases your talent. Think of it as kind of like your online Gallery, whether it’s performance videos, videos of you working with your passion and creating your passion so people can see the joy that you have when you are doing what you love.
Sell your digital products, your ebooks, even online courses on your website.
It’s very simple to join affiliate programs where you can link the products that you use. For example for me I have a page where I have my products I use, as far as like rosin, violin case, strings, these different things or a journal even that you can link to and then somebody will purchase that you can get a small commission.
Offer consulting services online. This can be easily done by Zoom.us. I’ve been using Zoom since 2011, teaching online.

Get organized with a checklist

I have an amazing wonderful, very simple one sheet called, “Get Monetized Online Checklist” that you can print up. This checklist is a great resource for you to follow and check off when you implement helping you make some fun cash from your passions online.

What is so beautiful about making money online is you are supporting yourself as an artist, as a musician which gives you more time to do what you love, which is probably working on your craft.

Have fun monetizing your talents and turning your gifts into gold.

Tula Microphone For Online Teaching

Looking for a microphone that is good for recording and for online teaching? In this post discover the Tula Microphone For Online Teaching.

I’m really excited to share the microphone that I am using now currently when I teach online and when I record myself playing the violin. I am beyond excited to have found this microphone it’s called the Tula mic, t-u-l-a. It’s adorable, compact, and portable.

What I love about this microphone is it’s great for voice and also for the violin.

Getting to know the Tula microphone

The Tula microphone is extremely compatible and fits in your backpack super easily so it can go anywhere you go. It can also easily fit in your violin case.

The Tula mic has its own little stand that opens up and then it’s able to sit down very nicely without any issue. You can change out the stand and connect it to a mic stand if you want to. Simply take the stand off with a quarter turn.

On either side of the microphone, you have an on-off button, a record button, the button to choose for the Lavalier mic, and for noise cancellation as you’re recording.

You can order a carrying case specific for the Tula as well; however, I do not have the carrying case as it wasn’t available for international orders. If you are located in the United States, you’ll be able to order the carrying case directly from the Tula website.

Tula is not only a microphone but a recording device as well

The Tula microphone is also a recorder! It records the violin or any musical instrument for that matter very beautifully. It is great to use in your practice sessions as well to playback and hear how you are sounding on the violin.

The one thing is, it does not have a speaker so you’re not able to play yourself back however if you connect headphones to the Tula mic you’ll be able to hear yourself.

Easy connectivity

The Tula microphone is excellent for online teaching. It connects very easily to Zoom, to your iPhone or any device you want to make videos, with a smartphone, or any apps on the iPad or tablet.

The Tula mic comes with a cable that you insert in the back of the microphone and with the other end you easily plug into the USB of the computer that you’re using.

Since I’m using a MacBook Pro I have to have a USB adapter which you can find pictured and linked to the right. You know that it is connected when a notification pops up that the mic has been connected.

Connecting to the iPhone

To connect the Tula microphone with your iPhone you will need a camera adaptor (pictured and linked to the left.) This adaptor connects to the iPhone allowing you to have the USB here for the Tula to be connected.

Now you can use the Tula microphone when you are making videos with your iphone.

How to set up in Zoom

When in Zoom, go into your microphone settings and select the Tula mic. It’s not going to work at first if you don’t select it in settings. You will know the Tula mic is working when you have a red light showing up on the Tula microphone itself.

Easily connects with a Lavalier mic

If you want to connect even further when you’re talking, use a Lavalier mic (pictured and linked to the right) connected through your Tula. There is a hole in the Tula microphone specifically for your Lavalier mic.

If you’re a musician, I would highly recommend the Tula mic. If you’re an online teacher of an instrument, I would recommend the Tula mic because it’s great for the voice and also for the instrument.

Super Easy Affordable & Fast Video Filming Set Up for non Techies

Recently, I was asked how do you make your YouTube videos? So I wanted to go ahead and give you the rundown of what I use for my YouTube videos. In this post discover Super Easy Affordable & Fast Video Filming Set Up for non Techies. I’ve been making Youtube videos for 11 years and I will share with you a bit of my filming journey.

My Youtube journey

In 2010, my Youtube channel was mainly the home for my violin performance videos. Then as I started to perform overseas my in-person students wanted me to teach them while I was away. That was the first step to teaching online and I started teaching violin and piano online in 2011. My videos naturally turned into more violin tutorials for my students and clients that I worked with.

My move to Macbook

When I first started filming video, I used a specific video camera and a specific editing software, it was getting a little clunky especially when I moved to Apple. I used my iPhone and that connected a lot better with my MacBook on the simplicity of making and editing YouTube videos.

No video camera needed

First thing, grab your smartphone. You really don’t need a video camera. The video cameras on the new smartphones are really high quality. I keep my iPhone up to date so I’m always having better quality videos from my iPhone.

Good quality microphone

Number two is a microphone. Audio quality can make or break a video. It’s really important that you are heard well in your videos.

Currently, I use a Tula microphone. Click here to read my post “The Best Microphone for Online Teaching.”. It’s a fabulous microphone that I use not only for my YouTube videos but also for my online teaching and coaching calls.

The Tula microphone can also be used as a recorder. If you’re a musician and you want to record yourself, this microphone is fabulous plus it’s portable.

I love everything that I have to be portable since I do travel quite a bit and that way my office is simply portable.

The next thing you want to get is a Lavalier mic. That way that you can really hone in your voice or your instrument into the microphone and it actually helps to reduce background noises. With the Tula mic you just connect the lavalier mic to the Tula mic and then an adapter to connect with my iphone.

The Lavalier mic can also be used on its own. I would suggest getting wireless so you are movable without being connected to a wire.

Natural lighting is best

The next thing is lighting. Lighting is super, super important. I actually use natural lighting for all my videos. I prefer to use natural lighting. Every time I have tried to use a different setup for lighting, it’s just not the same.

I’ve gotten a whole full setup with a light box and was disappointed with the effect. So I schedule my videos when I know I’m going to have pretty decent natural lighting and I angle myself to the window so the natural lighting comes at me.

Lighting alternatives

Now if you’re wanting to make videos and you just don’t have that natural lighting there are a couple of options you can use. These options also work if you’re working online with clients and you want to be well-lit for them.

You can find mini ring lights that clip on your phone or on your computer to light up while you’re working. It does have an adapter and you can plug it in so you don’t have to worry about running out of batteries. You can just plug it into your USB port and charge this guy right up.

For something a little bit bigger I use a ring light set on a tripod that has a holder for the phone within the ring light itself. I mainly use this for my clients, when I work online to light up my face as I’m working with them because when I do have clients it’s night out and I don’t have that natural lighting.

Tripod for smartphone

If you choose to use natural lighting without the ring lights then you just need a normal tripod to hold your phone for filming. The tripod that I use can also be used as a selfie stick which allows me to make videos on the go.

Editing in iMovie

You’re going to need an editing software to edit these marvelous videos that you’re going to make. I’ve used different softwares in the past. Since I am for all for Simplicity, I use my iPhone, my MacBook and I stick with iMovie.

A lot of fellow YouTubers say to use Final Cut Pro as an editing software but I just personally have not moved from iMovie. It gets the job done and before I move to a different editing software I’ll probably hire a video editor.

So that means you’re going to have to have a computer to use that in video editing software so your computer of choice. If you choose to use Apple products they just work really seamlessly together and they communicate very well.

In the past, I had communication issues of uploading downloading the video into the computer but with the same system of iPhone and MacBook you can just airdrop.

Simple background

Don’t be too afraid of what your background looks like if it’s not as perfect as you want it. You can find a background anywhere that you can use right now. You can start making the videos if it’s just a blank wall that’s great as long as you have good lighting and the fact is you just don’t want your background to be cluttered. You want people to be looking at you and not looking at your background and being distracted by what is in your background. So as simple as you can make it is great.

Get filming

Don’t let the feeling of not having the perfect video editing or video filming equipment stop you from making your videos. Go out there and meet your public with the videos that you make where you are right now. It’s always going to get better from here.

How to Quickly Edit Your Youtube Videos in iMovie

How to Quickly Edit Your Youtube Videos in iMovie

Looking for a way to quickly edit your YouTube videos in iMovie? Editing videos for YouTube can be a complicated and time-consuming process but with tips and tricks, you can easily master the basics of video editing in iMovie. In this post, I’ll show you how I personally edit my YouTube videos and show you some fast and simple tips to help get you editing your videos in iMovie.

iMovie editing checklist

Open iMovie
Click Create a movie
Drag and drop the video file you want to edit into iMovie or click the arrow in the upper left to retrieve it from your files.
Highlight the movie (You’ll know it is highlighted when you see the yellow frame around the movie)
Click the magic wand on the upper left corner of the video editing tools that you find on the upper right side of iMovie.
If there are any yellow areas within the movie itself, this lets you know that the audio was too oud in that area. Drag the audio down lower to not have any yellow in the movie itself.
Know that if anything happens that you want to undo just click Command Z if you are on a mac.
Trim the empty space at the beginning of the video before you start talking. Do this by right clicking and click trim to playhead.
Add in your transitions, titles, music, B-Roll while you are editing the video. You can see how all of this si done by watching the video above.
Take note of the time you refer to a lead magnet or another video so when you add the links in Youtube, you don’t have to watch the entire video yet again.
When finished editing, watch the video from beginning to end for a final check
Save this file for Facebook video if you are posting to Facebook
Find 20 seconds from the end of the video, right click and split clip.
Add your endcard (watch the video above to learn how to do this.)
Add the last 20 seconds of your video on top of the endcard.
Don’t forget to mark 0 for the dissolve.
Save file and upload to Youtube.
Create a Short from your video that you can use for Insta and Pinterest.

I’m so excited about creating this post for you as this is something that has truly helped me have more bookings on my calendar as an online entrepreneur.

Youtube library to content creation hub

I have used YouTube as my Hub; however, this wasn’t my intent at the beginning of my Youtube journey. I was just using YouTube as a library for my performance videos as a violinist and then it just naturally evolved into teaching videos for my students.

Online biz hamster wheel

I really listened to a lot of gurus because I felt they knew a lot more than I did about how to create an online Biz being a career professional violinist with no techie skills; however, I have found after years of listening and doing what they said that I was just living in some sort of hamster wheel doing things that I didn’t see a lot of results.

Getting off the hamster wheel

As a Capricorn, a rebel, and a violinist I have this attention to detail such that when I do something it’s got to be laser-focused and it’s got to have results and return on my time invested. I use the analogy of dark chocolate or espresso for how I work with violinists, how I live my life and how I have successfully monetized myself online.

Return on time invested

I remember a few years back as I was attending a live Workshop specifically on how to use YouTube for an online biz, the coach said well you need to do this, this and this, and I said,

“You know what? My goal is not to have thousands of subscribers, which I do, or to have millions of views, which I do, my goal is to use my YouTube channel to make money. I’m not here to spin my wheels and just make YouTube videos just for the heck of it. I need to see a return on my time invested.”

The coach was silent for a little bit and then honestly after that, she completely revamped how she was presenting her strategy. Why video?

Let’s first start off with why video? Video is such a great way for people to get to know you, your character, feel your energy and understand if they want to work with you.

Every teacher is not for every student and every student is not for every teacher.

This goes along with clients. Every client is not for every coach and vice versa. So video is a great way for your future clients to know and understand if they’ll work with you.

You are the vibration you attract

If they can’t get through your video, they find you annoying, they’re not going to want to work with you. If they find that they’re not getting results on what you’re presenting in the videos, not going to want to work with you, on the other hand,

if they love your energy,

they can’t stop watching your videos,

they just love your Vibes,

they totally resonate with you,

there’s something inside of them that’s inside of you,

and they find answers with what you have to say, then voila!

Angels Sing and they’ll want to work with you.

It’s as easy as that and this is why video is so great because you can write all the blog posts, you can write all the social media posts, you can create a profile on LinkedIn, but they don’t know you!

They don’t know your character, they don’t know your voice, they don’t know your vibration, they don’t feel your energy. This is why video is phenomenal and you can use this to attract your clients.

It‘s not about the subscribers and it’s not about the views

I’m going to walk you through step by step how to create a video that you’ll post on YouTube that’s going to be your client magnet.

It’s not about the subscribers, it’s not about how many views you get. If you get a hundred views and one of those views purchases a digital download or works with you or subscribes to your list, that is a huge win! Huge! Just one person watching One video that follows through on your call to action is a huge win.

Video filming tips

So when creating the video, be sure to have a very simple background, good lighting.

It doesn’t have to be complicated. I use my iPhone so don’t let the complications of tech stop you from filming that video.

You had me at hello

In order to Create Youtube Videos to Magnetically Attract Clients, you need a catchy title. People aren’t going to click on your video if the title isn’t working for them.

So how to formulate a catchy title?

Make sure it is in relation to the information that you’re giving in your video, has a pain point that your future client is going to relate to and a solution use powerful words. You can check it in Tubebuddy Keyword Explorer to see how it’s going to rate with your channel and how it’s going to rate on YouTube plus you’ll find out if it’s a searchable title and if people are actually searching for what you’re presenting in your video.

Be authentic

Present yourself as naturally as possible. Be completely authentic, with beautiful energy. It doesn’t hurt to present yourself in the best way possible. If you’re feeling tired and sluggish, not a good time to make a video. Think about when you feel your best so that you can present yourself at your best in the video.

Video batching to save time

Batch your videos. Make a list of different videos that you can make at one time to save your time. I know if you’re like me you like to save time and energy so make a list of maybe three video ideas.

Take the time to script out the videos beforehand so that you can do them one right after the other especially if you don’t have a specific place where you make your videos or if you’re surrounded by family or living with other people and it’s a little difficult to make videos surrounded by other people and finding that quiet spot.

Once you have everything set up, and done your hair, you feel like you’re able to present yourself, optimize that time and batch your videos.

Include only ONE call to action

Within your video ideally have one call to action. These days people are super busy. They have maybe 25 different things going on in their head at once and to present many different things in one video can be just like overwhelm on making a decision. We all have to make decisions multiple times a day and having to make a decision on what link to click on can be somewhat overwhelming.

So restrain yourself to only one call to action.

Superpowered call to action

What would that call to action be for you to have a client? It could be liking the video, it could be commenting below to create a relationship with this person, signing up for your newsletter where you share specific offers only for those peeps, a digital download free pdf that you want to present to help with a solution that’s in your funnel.

Not just to give a free pdf away.

Everybody probably has at this point in the online World downloaded a free pdf from somewhere and it never generated into anything. So do make sure that the PDF that you are presenting or this gift I like to think of it as a gift that you are giving your followers, leads into more of a solution on their path. This is not to just give something away for free but have it be on a path or on a journey that’s going to help them if they choose to take that Journey with you.

Sprinkle the link everywhere

Then once you’ve decided on that call to action you need to give people the link. Put the link in the cards that show up in the right-hand corner of the video. Put that link in the end screen which is the final screen on the video which you’ll see at the end of this video. Put the link in the description below the video. You could even put the link in the comments below the video and say hey here’s the link for this so people don’t miss it again.

Keep in mind people are so busy that if it’s not staring them in the eyeball they’re probably not going to click on it.

Eye catching thumbnail

The thumbnail is also very important. As soon as you finish making the video take a quick selfie, download it to your computer and use that on your thumbnail.

Your face is your brand. Your face is unique to you. Your energy is unique to you. Your smile is unique to you.

So when people see that on the thumbnail they can immediately resonate with it and click on your video.

Use your image and catchy words that connect with the information in the video and with your title people need to see the video.

Keyed up keywords

So in the tags below the video, use the keywords people would search on to find this video. Put your title word for word in the tag section found in the details below the video on the backend. This is another place Tubebuddy comes in handy. Tubebuddy will show you how your keywords rate and let you know if there are other key words that would be beneficial to use as well.

Plus put your client magnet video in a playlist with a catchy title.

Playlist power

I just revamped a playlist on my YouTube channel to help adult violinists jump out of the beginner stages to learn third position and it’s called “Beginner No More, Learn Third Position.” Pretty short, to the point, catchy words and it solves a pain point of violinists who feel like they just have never gotten out of that beginner stage.

Put your video in a playlist and then put that playlist on the front of your YouTube channel so people can find it.

Repurpose your video

You can repurpose the same video, create the subtitles put it on your blog posts, create Instagram reels to direct people to that full-length video, create some Facebook lives to direct people to your YouTube video and that’s it!

You now have this amazing video that you’ve uploaded to YouTube to attract clients whether it is right now or years down the road.

Somebody may watch that video and find out hey they want to work with you they love your energy, they love you, they love what you have to offer and they can’t get enough of you.

May not happen immediately…

What’s so great about YouTube is once you make that video, it’s LIVE. I have popular YouTube videos on my channel from 10 years ago that are still working for me today that are still bringing me, clients.

So don’t get discouraged if nothing happens right away. You publish a video and it’s like one day, two days, and only 100 views and you don’t know what’s going on, don’t freak out.

Create another video. Stay consistent!

As long as you follow these steps that I’ve given you in this video, someday, somewhere, somebody’s going to really enjoy what you have to offer.

Why I Use Youtube as My Content Creation Hub

As I’ve been on YouTube since 2010 and teaching online since 2012, I’ve discovered that YouTube has brought in most of my clients out of all the social media platforms. In this post, discover why I use YouTube as a content creation hub.

Over the 10 years that I’ve been working online, YouTube has been my biggest lead generator for clients that I work with personally and also for clients that join my online programs and/or purchase my digital products.

Large return on time invested

As I love a large return on my time invested, YouTube provides this for me. A video that I created for an online course three years ago is still generating students for that online course.

This is why I love YouTube. I make one video and for years it is working as my sales person 24 7: while I’m sleeping, while I’m practicing, while I’m working with my clients, while I’m teaching.

Violin videos that I have made years ago are still bringing me clients to this day. This is Why I Use Youtube as My Content Creation Hub.

Video captures YOU!

I love working with video because you get to know me as a person, my energy, my smile, my enthusiasm and you can understand if I am the right person for you to work with by the tone of my voice, by how I use my words. You know by my energetic vibration if we are a good fit or not.

With video, people get to know my teaching style, people get to know me as the business owner that I am and how I work online plus people get to know me with how I use mindset in my business and in my violin Journey.

Consistency is Key!

As I am on other social media platforms Facebook and Instagram, the place that I continuously show up week after week, two times a week in fact, is on YouTube.

Not to say that if I would show up even more on Instagram it wouldn’t be beneficial to my business but the reason I show up consistently on YouTube is that I know this video will be seen by people for years to come.

It’s not going to disappear after 24 hours or not be in somebody’s feed after 24 hours.

Youtube is a search engine

If somebody searched on a specific topic and the title of my video, my keywords match the solution that they’re searching for, then boom they get to see the video and it’s a perfect match.

Start with a video script

Now before I get into all the reasons why I use YouTube as a hub for my business, you may be thinking well that’s not such a bad idea and I would really like to make videos too.

There are a lot of different options for a Youtube video script of which you can easily find searching on Youtube. But what I have found the best is to keep it simple.

I’ve created a video script template to help you out. It’s one that I use personally to keep myself organized and know that every video I create has a purpose. You can get my video script template for free here!

Don’t underestimate the power of the video title

When you create your video script think about the solution that people are searching for and that you’re providing in the video so that you can use your title as a hook for them to see, “Hey you know what? This video has some answers for me. I’m going to check this out.”

Don’t create videos just to create videos

I’m not creating videos just to create videos. I want those videos to work for me whether it’s attracting emails, whether it’s collecting comments, whether it’s bringing somebody to my online course, whether it’s used to create more views on my YouTube channel, whatever it is, every single video I make has a purpose behind it.

Youtube as the hub SAVES TIME!

So let’s get into this. Why do I just love YouTube as my content creation hub? One it saves time. I make one video which I edit it in iMovie.

If you want tips, check out this post, “How to edit in iMovie.” At least how I use iMovie to edit.

Once I have edited the movie then I save that file for Facebook. Then I add the end screen and I save that for YouTube and then I create a shorter version that can be used on Pinterest and Instagram.

I also take the YouTube video and I embed it into my blog post. I use the subtitles from every YouTube video I make as the foundation for that blog post. So it saves a lot of time.

As you see, one video multiple platforms.

Youtube allows me to stay balanced

I choose not to work on my business 24/7. I do play the violin. I do have clients that I work with. I do teach violin. I play piano as well and I accompany so I have a lot of things on my plate that I want to make sure that I’m balanced.

Plus I swim every day and I’m on the treadmill for an hour. So I’m sure you can understand, it’s not that we have a blank slate of 24 hours to work on our business. We need to be balanced. Creating one video and using it for multiple platforms helps me to achieve this.

Youtube videos collect your fans and followers

YouTube videos are a great way to collect your tribe. Whether that is getting them onto your email list by providing a wonderful offer for them in exchange for their email or whether that’s inviting them to your Facebook group.

Youtube videos drive sales

YouTube videos are also great to sell your products, your courses. Another great reason Why I Use Youtube as My Content Creation Hub. There are multiple places you can leave a link directing people to the solution to what they’re looking for.

Seeing 1919 Everywhere? Discover Why

Are you seeing 1919 everywhere? These last couple of weeks I have been seeing the combination of ones and nines everywhere. When I say everywhere, it’s not just on a digital clock, but on license plates, battery percentage, at the end of how many emails you may have.

Seeing Repeating Number Sequences

Numbers show up in many, many different places and not just on a digital clock. If you’re seeing numbers you know what I mean. It could be the most random places and it’s almost like they’re illuminated and completely repetitive. So many times that it just it’s like hitting you in your face.

Seeing Repeating Number Sequences

I’ve been seeing and receiving number messages since January 11th of 2011. You can check out my seeing 1111 post to learn more about that Awakening process that I went through and now when I see numbers and especially when they’re like this last these last couple of weeks 191919 19, 19 91, 991, 1991, it’s a message that I need to receive.

Energetic meaning of number 1

If we think about the number one it symbolizes New Beginnings. The energy of one, connected with a letter A. If you happen to have a name that begins with the letter A, you like to be number one. You like to be first and one has that feeling of new energy.

Major Arcana 1 in Tarot

If we think about the tarot cards, we have one as the magician. One has this fantastic energy of creating something new out of almost nothing. It’s the beginning of a cycle.

Combination of 1 and 9

So the combination of ones and nines are truly interesting because nines are the end of a cycle returning back to 10. So it doesn’t matter if it’s nine going to ten, 19 going to 20, 29 to 30. Nines are the ends of a cycle. With 1919 we have one, at the beginning of a cycle and we have nine at the end of a cycle and we’re seeing them together one nine, one nine, one.

Combination of 1 and 9

With these two energies coming together, it’s really a time of transformation. It’s a sign that things are being let go of or you need to let go of some things to allow for these new beginnings to happen. It’s a sign that these new beginnings are happening now and the endings are also occurring at the same time.

Seeing 1919: a time of transformation

So if you’re seeing 1919, 91 91 ones and nines all over the place you’re probably feeling a little bit like the tower tarot card, where you’re just in this transformation. It could be a refining fire. Something new is being birthed forward.

Major Arcana 9: The Hermit

It’s a time to settle in, listen to your intuition, get silence and connect with your inner divine. It may be a sign that there’s all these distractions around you and you really need to focus in, find that peace and that silence. Spend some time in nature walking in the forest looking at beautiful mountains, the color green to help you find peace in this time of transition.

At least this is what I’m thinking about when I’m seeing the numbers one and nine.

Time to step into your light

Ones and nines could also be a call to step forward in your light and the vibration of you, the highest vibration of you. To connect to that and let everything else go that’s really trying to pull you down. All that negativity and just let it go and every time anything that comes in that just wants to like pull you down or distract you or pull you away from your alignment settle in and find those moments that you can find your peace because where you find your peace, that’s where you’re the strongest.

Say goodbye to soul suckers

You may be finding that your energy is just getting completely drained and you are at the end of your rope or on the other side of your borders that you’re just on the other side of your limits. At least I know that’s where I have been these last couple weeks as I’ve been seeing nine ones and nines and taking that opportunity to find what truly brings you happiness.

Stay connected to Source

Enjoy those moments where you feel more connected with yourself, whether that’s sharing knowledge with others. For me I’m super high Vibe when I create these YouTube videos. Find where you are able to express yourself the most without fear of judgment, without fear of thinking about what other people think about you, where you feel the strongest, whether it’s playing a musical instrument.

Take that time because it’s super important while you’re seeing these ones and nines because that’s going to help you through this specific transition that you’re going through. How to Sell Profitable Digital Downloads Complete Step-by-Step Tutorial

You know you need to make digital downloads. You have maybe an idea but the path of exactly how to get that digital download in your customers’ hands can be a little difficult to understand. In this post discover, How to Sell Profitable Digital Downloads Complete Step-by Step-tutorial.

1. Profitable digital download idea

First, you need to have an idea. If you’re struggling with what idea to go for, download my Profitable Digital Download Idea Generating Journal and get those ideas flowing. Not only will you come up with one idea, I’m sure you’ll come up with multiple ideas that you can use in the future.

2. Make your profitable digital download

Once you have your idea, you need to create that profitable digital download. You need to make it. Need help? Check out my post that walks you through three different ways to build a digital download PDF via Google Drive, Canva, or Keynote.

Digital downloads can be PDFs or audio files. Whatever it is that you make you want to save it in a safe place on your computer so that you can access it when you need to upload it to the place your customers are going to buy it.

3. Make your profitable digital download visual

You have your digital product now safe on your computer. You’ll want to make this digital product as visual as possible for your customer to understand what it is. Just a link is not going to give them an idea of how this digital product is going to help them.

A great way to make your digital product come to life is to create images in Canva or in PicMonkey so people can see exactly what this digital product is going to look like when they buy it and you can give an idea of how they can use it, whether it’ll be on the iPhone or if they can use it on the computer.

You can easily grab images of the tablet or device that they’ll be using this digital product on and it also gives them the idea that yes this is a hundred percent immediately downloadable digital product that they can access on their device.

4. Create your sales/landing page for your digital download

Step four is to create the landing page or sales page where your customers are going to learn more about this digital product and why they absolutely need it. This sales page can be on your website or you can sell your product on a separate platform like Payhip.

I’m truly happy with the customer service and what Payhip has to offer. If you do use my Payhip link, I may or may not receive a commission at no cost to you and it helps to keep this website going.

5. Create a checkout process for your digital download

Once you’ve decided if it’s going to be on your website or on Payhip we need to have a checkout process and this is step five. If you’re using a platform like Payhip, this is all taken care of for you all you have to do with Payhip is go in and create a product upload.

Upload your digital download to Payhip
Upload your images that represent your digital download.
Decide on a price and insert that information in the designated place in Payhip.
Fill in the description box describing your product.

You want to have an incredible description that’s going to let your customers know exactly what they’re getting and how it’s going to help them. Answer the question why they absolutely need this specific digital download. How is your digital download going to make their life easier and absolutely immediately since it’s 100 percent immediately downloadable.

Payhip has the checkout page done. So once you have the product created in Payhip, somebody buys the product, a form pops up and they’re able to continue with the checkout.

Now if you are going to have this product housed on your website, you create the landing page on your website, you upload that beautiful image to make it more tangible, this digital product and then you’ll have a button below that says buy now and this is going to link to PayPal.

So you’ll have to create a button in PayPal and then you’ll get the link that you can put on your website. Now if you don’t want to use PayPal you can use Stripe as well and get that link and put it on your website it’s the same process and then when they click that link they’ll be guided through a checkout process.

6. Collect the funds from the sale of your digital download

Step six is collecting money so if you’ve chosen to go with Payhip you’ll have to connect Payhip to your PayPal account or and if you want to your Stripe account. Then when Payhip receives that money it will be transferred to either Payhip or Stripe account but they will take a fee. It depends on which plan you set up with Payhip. They do have a free plan with the way you don’t have to pay every month but they will take a percentage out of every sale. So until you’re making a specific amount of money in your sales you can use Payhip for free but just know that they will be taking a percentage out of every sale. Once you have more monthly sales you can investigate in Payhip’s plan how much it is a month and if that offsets having to have that fee taken out for every single sale. But when you’re first getting started, I would just suggest getting the free Payhip plan. Now on your website, you’ve used the link to PayPal or Stripe. If you choose not to use Payhip and then you’ll be collecting the money from from those accounts how you have it set up to transfer into your business checking account.

7. Deliver the digital download

Then step seven, the product needs to be delivered to your client. If you choose to use Payhip this is so seamless and it’s all taken care of. Payhip will send an email to your client and they’ll get that digital download and everything is set.

If you choose not to use Payhip and you just use your website and then you’ll have to have a redirect that’ll send that person to that specific link so they can access the digital download.

As you can see these two different options, Payhip does create this super seamless path.

If you wanted to not use the Payhip store but have the product directly on your website and still use the Payhip process. You can get a link once you’ve created your product in Payhip that you can copy and paste and sell that product on your website still via Payhip.

8. Market your digital download

As great as digital products are you need to market them. They’re not going to sell themselves. So you do have to plan on how you’re going to be funneling eyeballs to that specific landing page whether it’s on your website, whether it’s on Payhip, it doesn’t matter where it’s living but you do have to get people to see it.

Plan on sharing the link to this page on your social media accounts. Create a video of yourself using the product or of somebody else using the product and how it’s benefiting them so it becomes more lively to your customers and they see why they need this product.

Share it on your Instagram feed with a quick reel. If you have a Facebook group, you can easily share it in your Facebook group as well.

This is the eight-step process of creating a digital download so that you can start making money right away and build up that extra little cash bundle to help support yourself via your online biz.

Adding digital products to your offerings doesn’t have to be stressful or take a lot of time. But coming up with a digital product idea may just be getting you stuck. In this post, we will be brainstorming digital product ideas to help your clients and boost your sales.

Instead of starting off with all the different digital product types, I have some questions for you to help you get your juices flowing. Download the free Profitable Digital Product Idea Generator Journal to write down your answers. This will help you not lose that brilliant idea that might just pop in your head.

Digital Product Ideas to Help Your Clients and Boost Your Sales

So we’re not creating digital products just to create digital products and say that we have them. We want to create digital products that are going to help your clients and boost your sales.

The digital product ideas that I’ll give you in this post are time-saving ideas. Instead of taking weeks to figure out what to do, if it’s going to be profitable, or overthink the entire process, each question in this video is posed in such a way that you will have an immediate idea for your digital product and start making money immediately.

One person, one problem

I’d like you to think about your clients and the followers that you currently have, whether that’s online or off. You can even think about past clients that you’ve had and how you’ve helped them.

Out of that group of beautiful humans, pick one person that pops into your head. Think about that one problem that they had that you solved for them. For example, My Pitch Exploration Journal that I created in this last year, digital download, evolved in 2014, when I worked with a violinist in the UK to help him out with his intonation.

I teach the same process in my Gorgeous Tone Academy. As the years went on, I realized that it would be wonderful for my students of The Gorgeous Tone Academy to have an actual journal to record the process and voila I created my one-of-a-kind download Pitch exploration Journal.

As you see this hit all the yes’s; supplementing an existing program and selling as a standalone product. The Standalone product Builds an email list where I can Foster and nourish them to join Gorgeous Tone Academy as the next step.

Supplemental printable resource for an online course or in person practice

Now let me ask you, do you have an online program or course that could use a supplemental printable resource? This is also great if you have an in-person practice.

What pamphlet would be helpful for your clients that you could easily create as a digital download and sell.

Daily implementation practice

Another digital product idea is a daily implementation checklist. Checklists are great because they could be printed up, kept on the fridge close to the laptop and the office to help your clients along with the daily implementation of a process that solves their problem.

Turn blog posts into an eBook

Do you have a Blog? Blog posts are great because you’ve put in a lot of hours into that blog. You can take all those blog posts that you’ve spent hours creating and turn them into a digital download, an ebook. Bundle up your most popular blog posts or by category and create an ebook.

This is great for your current client base to easily print up the tutorials that you’ve given in the blog posts. Revenue from ebooks is expected to grow 3.2 percent by 2025.

Solution to a common problem

Is there a common problem that your clients seem to have? What digital product would be a helpful resource for them to work through this solution to that problem?

Perhaps a planner, a checklist, a workflow, or a template that you may use on a daily basis.

What questions do you get asked the most?

What questions do you get asked most often? If nothing comes to mind, you can keep your own question journal and every time somebody asks you a question write it down.

This is a great time saving way to even come up with new blog posts, new YouTube videos, Instagram reels so that you’re answering these questions that are being asked to you regularly and it’s a great way to create a digital product that you can send them to and say, “Hey yeah, you know what? I’ve got the answer for you and this ebook, in this PDF and this audio, and direct them to the link.

Next step to a current optin

If you already have an opt-in or a freebie that you’re giving to your clients and followers, think about what would be an easy no-brainer Next Step that they would love to have to help them along their way.

For example, I’ve created my “Raise Your Vibration Guidebook” and once they get that free guidebook, at the end of the guidebook, I have the next step which is to learn how to implement this in your daily practice and it’s a PDF called Powerfully Aligned Daily Manifestation Practice.

Make ready made templates your own

Coach Glue creates ready-made planners for you to buy and create your digital download. Just make it your own and you can sell it immediately. They’ve made a business making templates of digital downloads for you to sell.

As you see there is a need and a want to print up digital downloads that are planners, notebooks or journals.

Journal prompts

Are you good at asking questions to help your clients find their answers? There you have it. Your digital download can be one that’s filled with Journal prompts.

What are you currently using?

Is there something that you use all the time like a checklist, template or workflow? Turn it into a digital product, super easy and fast. You’re already using it, you know it works for you. Make it your own and sell it as a digital product. Trello or Asana templates are great digital products to sell.

Checklists

What do you wish you had a printable checklist for? I know I want a printable checklist to make YouTube videos so I don’t forget specific things like the microphone, turning it on, having the picture taken right after the video for the thumbnail, putting this into a reel, putting it into yada, yada. That is a checklist that I would create for myself and you never know you might see it as a digital product.

Many of my clients struggle knowing what to practice in the world of violin technique on a daily basis. So what did I create for them? A digital download. Their problem inspired me to create a 15 minute practice routine strategy checklist planner for 365 days that they can easily print up and for the entire year, every single day, they know exactly what to practice in the world of violin technique, with a fun little checkbox that they can check off as soon as they practice that specific technique. It’s a fun way to stay on track and take out the whole thinking process before even starting to practice.

Google Docs or Slides that you have on file

Do you have Google Docs or slides that you’ve used previously in presentations or to work with your clients? You can easily turn those into a digital download. You don’t even have to do anything with it, just share the link. Just change it to view so they don’t edit out anything in your Google doc and share the link, super easy. No need to create anything in Canva. Just share a link.

Chore lists

When you were younger did your mom ever put together a chore list for you? I know my mom did and it was fun for me to put on those sparkly Little Stars. Chore lists can be made into a digital download. If you go into Etsy and you search for chore list, you will see hundreds of different types of chore lists, cleaning lists that people are selling as digital download products. Let this inspire you to make a list, a checklist of any topic not just chores, a personal habit tracker to help you and to help your clients plus boost your sales as a digital product.

Audio files

Digital products are PDFs, sending links accessing Google Docs, but we also have audio files that you can sell as a digital product to help your clients and boost your sales.

What meditations would you just absolutely love that you can create for your clients and sell as a one-off meditation or a bundle of meditations to help your followers through a specific process.

If you’re a musician what can you sell? Perhaps your own compositions or any music in the public domain and you can sell online. If you’re a musician think about what audio you can create that would help your students and your followers.

Affirmation audios

You can create affirmations that would be helpful for your followers, for your clients, as a PDF and also as an audio of you reading those affirmations that they can listen to throughout the day so they feel like they have you in their back pocket cheering them on and two more really quick ideas.

Your own recipes

Any recipes that you absolutely love you can sell that in a recipe book? Your fans and followers would be just thrilled to know that they’re eating something just like you like it and that you love. They feel a little bit more connected to you.

As you can see the digital product ideas are endless of what you can create to help your clients and boost your sales.
