Awakening Your Intuition

Ready to awaken your intuition? Now is the time. We live at a time when the ability to hear the Source’s voice speaking within heart and mind has become greater, due to the intensification of light within the physical plane.

As a result, even for those who have wandered far away from a spiritual path, the way back to the light is more possible than ever before. All you need is a wish to return and give time and attention to the voice of inner knowing that you may have previously been rejecting.

Intuition is our inner knowing.

Intuition takes place in silence and in the presence of inspiration that arrives from another level, often through asking and waiting.

Though some intuitive perceptions primarily focus on the human plane, such as knowing someone so well that we can anticipate their reactions or actions, ‘higher intuition’ comes from a different place.

This intuition represents the voice of understanding that translates messages from the soul’s level, where Divine truth, light, and wisdom emerge.

Human intuition and higher intuition do not need to differ greatly. However, for many, a significant gap remains, making it harder to hear the words whispered between the soul and the mind.

To bridge this gap, both the mind and heart must be willing. There needs to be at least a beginning trust, free from fear, in one’s ability ‘to know’.

Intuition does not need to be taught; it needs to be allowed.

Intuition is a gift that has always been within us in a dormant state, waiting for us to turn towards it, as a flower turns to the sun. We can start with a small willingness to ‘know’ more of truth, light, and wisdom as it applies to our own life and to the lives of those we love.

We may begin to ask to have the obstacles removed that cloud our knowing or diminish our perception of what is truth.

A desire to make contact with higher truth begins to open the doors to inner knowing.

Our intuition is heightened when the desire for truth is combined with a willingness to receive answers and the ability to create space for the messages to be given.

There are people who ‘know’ things who do not believe what their inner senses tell them. They invalidate and reject what they feel or believe.

This choice begins to close the doors to higher perception as it gives more power to fear; fear of being wrong, fear of being different, fear of transformation. In order to open the doors to intuition and to keep them open, we need to be willing to hear and know, and we need to be willing to trust.

To trust is to be courageous

Trusting may ask us to question how we have lived our lives. It may be that life has compelled us to be more practical, more focused on the daily tasks of living and providing for others.

We may fear trust as we are made vulnerable in the process. Trusting in something bigger than ourselves is a process of letting go of our control. Perhaps mistakes have been made in the past on who or what to trust.

It also may be that we have forgotten that we have the capacity to feel more, to sense more, or to be more open to life on all levels.

Trust involves not only a willingness to receive something from another level of our being, it also involves a willingness to believe in our own capacity to live in flow. Trusting may ask us to make uncomfortable changes.

Trusting is letting go of fear

Many people know a great deal but are afraid to recognize it because of where it might lead them. They must let go of this fear in order to open the doors to intuition and a greater perception of light and truth.

In these unprecedented times, we face many great issues as humanity, and the actions we take can profoundly affect all of humankind. It is especially important that we reclaim our ability to know and trust. Awakening Your Intuition serves as one of our weapons as warriors of light.

By not awakening and trusting our intuition, we place ourselves in the precarious position of not knowing what or who to believe or which direction to take in making the world a better place and alleviating the immense suffering we currently face.

Without access to our deeper intuitive sense, we remain at the mercy of public opinion and media manipulation instead of standing in the presence of truth.

Be open to the light

For reasons that are both personal and are simply part of being human, it is essential, now, for us to open to the light that is present so that we can participate more fully in the collective life of humanity, as well as, in the circumstances of our own lives.

It is time to allow our inner senses to awaken and to become the light-filled beings that we are. The time we are in asks this of us, and for each of us, our hearts ask this of us so that we can begin to solve the problems and challenges that are immediately before us.

Focus on the powerful vibration that you are. Making your personal vibration a priority raises the vibration of the planet.

We can begin with a prayer or meditation; we can follow that with a period of silence and emptiness in which we do not know and wait to be shown; we can make ourselves ready to become vessels of truth and light.

The recognition of intuition’s gifts may not happen immediately, but it will happen, and all of life celebrates when one who has left the path of recognizing their Divine self begins to tread the path of return.
